Mark NG
Brisbane, Australia

Born in KL, Malaysia , I was raised up with traditional Chinese religious beliefs until a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus in 1979. All my family members (including my dad who passed away two years ago) are now followers of Christ.

I am married to Sue (since 1990) and we have three children: Stephen –13; Melissa – 11; and Matthew - 6. Sue and I met on her DTS which I directed in 1989!

Did my DTS in Singapore in 1982. My outreach was in Brisbane during the Commonwealth Games held there. After completing my DTS, I joined YWAM Brisbane and served there until 1998. During that time, I worked in evangelism teams, taking the gospel to both primary and secondary schools using drama, mime etc, in Australia and overseas. Spent a year touring with a production called ‘Tribute' from '83-84. Began directing Discipleship Training Schools from 1989 after staffing on them from 1985. I pioneered a Basic Leadership School in Brisbane in 1990.

Moved to Singapore in Feb 1998 to work with YWAM in Singapore and also to provide assistance in YWAM in South East Asia in the field of training and leadership development. Taught quite a bit on DTS'es in the region.

Returned to Brisbane in 2001 to undertake a Bachelor of Social Science (majoring in counselling). Also worked with YWAM Brisbane providing leadership, consultation, training and oversight for ministry direction and operation especially in the areas of leadership development (BLS'es) and DTS'es. Resigned from YWAM Brisbane in 2004. In the process of completing my degree and will graduate in April, 2006.

Both Sue and I have a heart for discipling, training, mentoring, coaching and pastoral care.

Kari DILLS
Kona, HI USA

Kari grew up listening to her dad tell stories of his experience with YWAM “in the early days.” Intrigued by the radical commitment and exciting opportunities that he was given, she knew that her life would be spent serving God on the mission field and taking great risks to advance His kingdom.

She joined YWAM in 1997 and worked with the DTS’s in California until 2003. Kari has a compassionate heart for individuals and nations. She walks alongside people to help them grasp the love of God, and she challenges them to allow that love to bring change into their lives and areas of influence. Kari currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa.

Jeremy WEST
Montana, USA

I was born 29/9/1970 in Australia and first came to YWAM (Kona) in 1981 when I was 11 years old with my whole family. I returned to Sydney, Australia in 1983 and finished all of my schooling, including a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sydney.

In 1995 I returned to YWAM Kona for my own DTS and have stayed in YWAM ever since, also completing a School of Biblical Studies (SBS) and a Leadership Training School (LTS) with the University of the Nations. I have staffed and led multiple DTSs since 1986 and was the DTS Director in Kona from 2002-2004. I and my family are currently serving within the DTS in Lakeside MT where I am responsible for DTS staff development, including the newly developed course for DTS staff and leaders called "DTS Equip".

I have a lovely and awesome wife Molly, and two precious boys, Samuel and Joel.
My personal ministry passions revolve around developing emerging leaders to be disciples and disciple others. "Always remember that you're a disciple yourself", "think implicationally", and "They will be what they see", are some commonly heard phrases when I'm training staff. I love training staff and leaders, character first.
