Jill BILLS
Los Angeles, California, USA

Jill Bills  has been a missionary with YWAM for 39 years. She with her husband John have helped to pioneer several ministries; relief ministries to the Vietnamese, Lao and Cambodian refugees in Thailand and in the U.S. in the 1980's; unwed mother’s homes; homes for adults and children with AIDS in countries such as Brazil and India; AIDS ministry worldwide for twenty years. They have lead YWAM bases, DTS's, CDTS's and SOE's and travel extensively training this generation. They also oversaw all the YWAM ministry locations on the West Coast of the USA and were members of the YWAM North American Regional Council. Currently, she ministers entirely internationally, and serve the IDTSC by doing staff training to strengthen DTS leaders and staff worldwide.  Jill does the program monitoring for DTS's for the U of N for North America, Central America, Caribbean, Pacific, Australia, New  Zealand, South East Asia, Indo China and Philppines.  Jill resides with John in Sunland, CA. Their adult son and daughter and spouses also serve in full time ministry and in YWAM.



Pete THOMPSON
Cape Town, South Africa

Pete Thompson is the Africa Coordinator for the International DTS Centre. He lives in Cape Town with his wife and their two daughters.

Pete and his wife Michelle met while working together in Israel. On their first wedding anniversary they began their DTS in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and spent the following eight years staffing and leading DTSs in Amsterdam. In 1995, together with their two daughters, they moved to Cape Town, South Africa. While Pete’s primary focus is to strengthen the DTS within Africa, Pete travels globally teaching DTSs and training DTS leaders.

 


Wanda TAFT
Russia

Wanda comes from the US state of Georgia. She holds a degree in Educational Psychology  and worked for 7 years as testing coordinator for a metro Atlanta school system.

Wanda joined YWAM in 1985, completing her DTS in Manila, Philippines and serving in that nation until 1996. During her 11 years in the Philippines, Wanda staffed and led DTS's and was part of the teams that pioneered the Antipolo Training Center, Mission Bridge schools around Metro Manila and a DTS in the Vietnamese refugee camp on Palawan Island.

In 1996 Wanda moved back to the US to work with the YWAM Atlanta DTS's and to be a part of pioneering a new base in Perm, Russia. For several years she led schools in and traveled to Perm several times each year with outreach teams, to teaching in DTS, and to lead staff & leadership training workshops.

In 2006 Wanda moved to Russia full time to be a part of the newly formed Russia National Office team to focus on team development and staff & leadership training for YWAM Russia. She joined the International DTS Center in 2009 serving the Eastern European region.


Mark and Donna MACGOWEN
Colorado, USA

Mark and Donna MacGowan completed their DTS in 1992 and joined the staff of YWAM Denver after doing a Phase II School of Ministry in 1993. They are on the YWAM Denver eldership as well as the Training Leadership Team and work with Staff Development. In 2001, they pioneered an extension campus for YWAM Denver called Eagle Rock.

 

While part of the Denver family, they have also had opportunities to serve at Gleanings for the Hungry, in CA; Media Village, South Africa; with a long-term team in Afghanistan; and in the Gulf Coast, after Hurricanes Katrina & Rita. It is their vision to prepare disciplers for the next great revival.
