Matt's Muzings
September 2008 Volume 10 Issue 88
Hot off the press! I am excited to introduce you to a new book that I have just
published.
This book is about the importance of dialogue and how dialogue is the life of any
team or organization.
There's an Elephant in the Room
by Matt Rawlins
BACK COVER
What would happen if you had an elephant in your team or organization?
Its presence is felt by all, yet no one is willing to talk about it.
The trouble is if you can't talk about something, you can't change it. If you can't
change something, you miss out on new opportunities, creativity, achievements, beauty and success. Explore through this engaging story, with its delightful illustrations, what happens to an organization when its people are silenced and elephants are free to roam wherever they want. But then what would happen if you talked about the secrets everyone knows? Discover what happens when 4 misfits in a dying company choose the courage to be honest with each other.

You can find more information on the book at a new web site:
www.anelephantintheroom.com
Also, I have a link via my other website www.thegreenbench.com
It can be ordered through Amazon.com or any bookstore in the US.
This is where I really would love your help. Any and all I can get!
I need people to read it and if you like it, to talk about it, write a comment on
amazon.com, pass it around and just 'spread the word'.
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

FAMILY MATTERS:
MATT: I had a great time teaching in Salem, Oregon at the end of July and then a
week with my son and family. It was really good to be there and hang out. Also,
had a great time in Malaysia and Thailand over the weekend with different groups.
CELIA: This summer has flown by and here we are at the beginning of September.
After a trip to Oregon, work and ministry have taken Matt and I to Malaysia, Thailand
and soon South Africa. Each opportunity filled with fun, challenges and friendship.
We also tried to fit in as much of the Olympics as possible! I am sure you did
too!
JOSHUA: He is doing okay. He is asking some good questions and struggling to figure
out what to do next.
